Josh and I went downtown Ann Arbor for some Halloween fun. I dressed up as Retro Barbie and he was my paparazzi. This picture was taken in the parking structure.

Jump!
I took my sister-in-law's senior photos the other day. It was so fun! I love how the pics turned out and so does she. I can't wait for my next senior. It seems like I get better as I go. Wahoo! I can't wait to get some more business so that I can begin to buy nicer equipment.

Nina and Nick's baby boy
He is here! Caden Daniel Lee was born two days ago. He was 6 lbs 1ounce and adorable as can be. He has his mommy's nose and his daddy's hair. Caden has a mild case of Spina Bifida so we ask for your thoughts and prayers during this time as he recovers from surgery. His parents can't wait to take him home and I can't wait to hold his cute little self! Hehehe . . .

Happy Valentine's Day!
Josh came home today and completely surprised me. I was sitting around in my PJ's, unshowered and with no makeup and he knocked on my door with roses. He is such a sweetheart. I was not expecting him until Friday at 5pm. I'm really glad he came home early! I was missing him. I wish I would have showered this morning and put on makeup (or at least some actual clothes . . .hehehe). Anyway, thank you honey I had a great Valentine's Day because of you!

SNOW DAY! (February 1st)
Finally . . . Western's first snow day of the year. It should have been on Wednesday, but I'll take it for today! I was just glad I didn't have to get out in the snow for my 8 am class! Looking forward to laying around and doing nothing. Well . . . that is what I want to do. I have tons of homework to do instead. BLEH. Oh well!

North American International Auto Show 2008-17
NO WAY! I can't believe it! Thanks to all of my flickr friends, and google and yahoo search engines I had over 3,000 views yesterday! That is more than I get in a week sometimes! Thanks everyone for your views. I would love to see some comments from folks. Woot!
January 26th 2008 - Cake Tasting Day- "JOSH! How could you!"
Well . . . today was the day of our cake tasting. It didn't go exactly as planned, but we still had a fabulous time and lots of laughs! The day started out fine we went to the first bakery (Bert's) and did our little sampling and looked at photo albums full of cake pictures. Josh was bored because the only reason he came was to eat the cake. We got a complementary mini cake to take home from the bakery and I was very excited to get home and take pictures of it for my photo of the day. When we got home Josh tripped on the rug and the cake went flying! I was upset to say the least, but I am over it now and I even think it was a bit funny. We went to Battle Creek for lunch and ate at Don Pablos. It was yummy! Then we went to our last stop . . . Continental Pastries. The cakes on display there were amazing! I was excited to look through their books at the different examples they had. Josh even got excited about looking and talking to the cake decorator. When she brought out the cake samples we devoured them! It was fantastic! We are pretty sure that we are going to use them for our wedding cake. That is all for now.

My how time flies!
It seems so odd . . . this picture was taken nearly a year ago right after we got engaged, but it seems like just last month. Now the wedding is only 5 months away and I am beginning to stress about the details. I know that everything will work out and fall into place, but that doesn't stop the worry. Saturday Josh and I are going wedding cake testing . . . hopefully we will choose a bakery at that time.
Next week I have to apply for my audit and graduation. I am getting really excited about being done with college. I just can't wait to finish and begin my career as a teacher. Anyway . . . that is all for now . . . back to homework.

Mourning His Death

I fell in love with Heath Ledger the first time I laid eyes on him. The blond curls and heavy Australian accent were what did me in. I can remember having my first kiss with him in a dream when I was 16 years old. (I know kinda creepy . . . but come on . . . I was 16!) I didn't believe my fiance at first when he informed me about Heath's death in class. I hoped it wasn't true, but after seeing the news on CNN I knew it had to be true. He was a wonderful actor and I cannot wait to see him in the new Batman movie. It will be a great tribute to his life. I feel hurt for his 2 year old little girl. How tragic for her to lose her daddy in such a way! I was commenting the other day about the fact that there had been very few well known young actors die lately and then this happens! I'm done talking about stuff like that! I don't want Johnny to be next. I don't know what I would do if that happened. I have tons of homework to do for tomorrow so for tonight . . . goodnight all! Dream good dreams about Heath being alive and well.

Day 21 - North American InternationalAuto Show

Day 21 - North American Auto Show, originally uploaded by lovyprincess.
Today I went to the North American International Auto Show with my fiance Josh. We had so much fun looking at the futuristic cars and dreaming about which ones we would like to have. We really want the Fisker Hybrid car (Karma) but it has a base price of $80,000 so I doubt we will be getting that one any time soon. I was disappointed because Tesla wasn't there to show off their all electric car that I am obsessed with. Oh well! We had a great time anyway and we got some good ideas about the cars we may be purchasing in the next three years.

Day 20
This year I decided to join Project 365 (366 because it is a leap year). I intend to take a picture a day. If I feel up to it I will also be posting a blog with my picture of the day. Feel free to comment on my pictures. I enjoy constructive criticism, empathy, flattery, and any other type of comment you may have. =)
